The short version

Backflow Hazard Assessment does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your data. Everything you enter in the app stays on your device.

Data storage

All assessment records, photos, signatures, settings, and company branding you enter are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We operate no servers that receive your data, we require no account or sign-in, and we include no analytics, advertising, or tracking technology of any kind.

Camera, photos, and location

The app requests camera and photo library access solely so you can attach site photos to assessments, and location access solely to record GPS coordinates on assessments you create. This information is saved only on your device and appears only in the documents you choose to export and share yourself.

Imported connection lists

Connection lists you import from a CSV file are read on your device and stored in on-device storage alongside your assessments. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never receive your payment details. Apple's handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Your exports are yours

When you export a PDF or backup file, it is generated on your device and shared only where you send it. We have no access to it.

Data deletion

Because all data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes all of its data. We recommend using the app's backup export before deleting the app or changing phones.

Children

The app is a professional tool intended for adult use and is not directed at children.
