The app and your license
Backflow Hazard Assessment is a field documentation tool for cross-connection control hazard assessments, published by Aqua Solutions Consulting ("we"). Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store terms.
Subscriptions
The app is offered by auto-renewing subscription, purchased through your Apple ID: a monthly plan at US $9.99/month, which includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, and an annual plan at US $89.99/year. The free trial converts to a paid monthly subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled in your Apple ID subscription settings; canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices shown are United States pricing, may vary by region, and may change for future renewal periods with notice through the App Store. All billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple.
Professional responsibility
The app assists certified professionals in documenting hazard assessments. It does not perform assessments, render engineering judgments, or provide legal or regulatory advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, including any connection list you import, for the professional conclusions you draw, and for compliance with the laws, regulations, and program requirements that apply to your work, including any state-specific cross-connection control requirements. Form structures in the app reference California's Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook (CCCPH) and industry practice; use in any jurisdiction remains your professional responsibility.
Your data
All data you enter is stored on your device only. You are responsible for backing up your data using the app's export features. Deleting the app deletes its data.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aqua Solutions Consulting will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from use of the app. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these terms; the current version will always be posted at this address, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
